IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS AND EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE IN SLOVAK COMPANIES
Abstract
Process of implementation of information systems is a demanding process. Implementation of new systems and technologies is the first step towards their effective use. For that reason, this process is very important. Properly implement Business Intelligence must be systematic. The paper discusses issue of the implementation of Business Intelligence. The paper describes starting model how to implement Business Intelligence. The main objective is to carry out an analysis of the implementation of Business Intelligence in the Slovak enterprises and propose the correct model of implementation with respect to time, financial and technical complexity of the project. The survey results are compared with results from abroad.
