BYZANTINE ART'S AESTHETIC PRINCIPLES IN MUSIC AND ICONOGRAPHY
Abstract
The byzantine art is the cultural and spiritual emanation of the most enduring form of government in history: the Byzantine Empire. These forms of faith and art have survived to the present day undergoing an outstanding independently historical evolution, free from the conditions that initially created them. A unique event in human history. The characteristics of these forms of art are the spiritual unity, the specificity of each one and the complexity of the cultural system that supports it.
