Abstract

The value of the higher education, its availability and prospects of development is one of serious problems of modern society. A number of research works show that education stops being the channel of social mobility. In particular, the higher education in modern society gradually becomes the instrument of reproduction of a social inequality. Besides, this process is followed by transformation of system of values of people deprived of access to a quality higher education. This results in the growth of “ressentiment” of moods and social tension.
