COMPARATIVE STUDY TO REVEAL READINESS OF STUDENTS IN THE EDUCATIONAL AREA OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Abstract
Main theme of the paper is comparison of the educational trends in project management at School of economics and management in public administration in Bratislava and one of Metropolitan College, Boston University. Current situation in business area urgently requires readiness of university students to be able to apply their knowledge of project management in their professional career. Actual hiring trends in all sectors of labor market needs project management educated employees. Trends in demand of employers shows growing interest in hiring of project managers. This comparative study presents results of both researches done at the universities, focused on level of knowledge obtained by studying of project management. Study compare bachelor students in the second and third year of the university education. In the work, we could see the level of readiness of two groups of students (future graduates), one of private owned university School of economics and management in public administration in Bratislava and one of Metropolitan College, Boston University.
