THE LEGISLATIVE IMPACT ON INVESTEMTS FLOWS APPLIED ON THE CAPITAL MARKET. ROMANIAN CASE
Abstract
During the last years, the investments flows had a slow increasing trend on local market, even if in Romania were made improvements in order to attract investors, not only from Europe, but worldwide. In this regard, the aim of our study is to identify how the legislative changes have influenced the capital market, especially the investments area, including also the foreign direct investments. Romania was affected by the financial crisis which took place in 2008, so we have analyzed the situation before and after the crisis to see which were the effects resulted on the specific period. In comparison, we have also analyzed the situation of fiscal instruments used on other states of E.U. The legislative framework plays an important role in the activity of a country, and in order to establish which are the adequate instruments needed on the capital market, we have used economic models of multiple regression. In this regard, we considered as variables of the regression: the foreign direct investments, capital flows, the GDP and national income of Romania.
