REGIONAL IDENTITY AND ALTERNATIVE REVITALIZATION SCENARIOS IN THE RESPONSIVE DEVELOPMENT DESIGN IN WINE - GROWING REGIONS OF SLOWAKIA
Abstract
The paper deals about the differences in the methodology for sustainable development in historical cultural landscape. In two specific case studies it is comparing different methods of access to two important Slovak wine-growing regions. It compares the options and approaches in the design of sustainable construction in Svaty Jur and Rybnik. The paper is also dedicated to the impact of the genius loci, regional identity and alternative development scenarios for the actual design. The implementation of the possibilities have to support the agritourism – oenoturism in the region with a healthy rate of exploitation of the potential of vineyards which can improve the quality of rural life, ensuring the integrity, resilience and sustainability of living environment.
