Abstract

The aim of the research undertaken by authors was to analyze the prospects for the development of international cooperation in the field of criminal justice, as well as to assess the prospects for the development of joint counteraction to crime between the Russian Federation and foreign states. Its methodology included both the general scientific methods and specific juridical methods of cognition. The results of the research make it possible to obtain new knowledge in the field of organizing international cooperation in the field of criminal justice between the Russian Federation and foreign states, to solve the problems of implementing legislative regulations governing the institution of international cooperation in criminal justice, and to assess the prospects and effectiveness of this institution. International cooperation in the field of criminal justice is a promising area for the development of cooperation between different states in the fight against crime. Solving the problems that arise in the process of its organization makes it possible to make the process under consideration more efficient. Within the framework of the study, the authors analyze the identified problems and propose ways of their rational and effective resolution. So the results of the conducted research create the basis for reforming the current criminal procedure law in order to organize a more effective fight against crime at the international level in the framework of cooperation Russia with foreign states.
