THE SIMULATION MODEL OF MIGRATION AND DEMOGRAPHIC INTERACTIONS

Abstract

The article presents a model of migration and demographic movement of population. The model is based on the principles of sand-pile model by P. Tank, C. Wiesenfeld and H Tang. These principles have been combined with the structural-demographic theory of Peter V. Turchin and Sergey A. Nefedov and Jack Goldstone. As a result of it the synthesized model of migration and demographic interactions was obtained. The constructed model allows to take into account the influence of the real geographical conditions (such as such as relief and fertility) on the dynamics of the population and migration processes. The model was applied to the processed mapВ’s geographic data of the Earth. The results of numerical experiments with the model have been verified against collected empirical data, which was collected by two researchers, C. MeEvedy, and R. Jones. The observation of the model, on the one hand, and the data, on the other hand, allow us to reconstruct the past of the processes and predict them future.
