Abstract

Tourism is a growth generator element of functional complexity of the territorial systems with touristic function, an important part for the economic development of these resorts, but it also represents the space where the economic crisis can generate major imbalances in their evolution. The study aims to identify adaptive patterns of territorial systems with touristic function after the start of the global economic crisis. The methodology of this study consists in the creation of an economic database at administrative-territorial unit level and the four-digit NACE code level (Classification of National Economy Activities), for the main economic indicators: number of companies, turnover, number of employees and profit, for a period of 17 years, 2000-2016, where a number of graphs, trend patterns and ranks have been made. Based on this dataset, modeling of adaptive capacity were made at the structural level, identifying some adaptive patterns, which includes all the tourist resorts from Romania.
