INDIVIDUAL APPROACH IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES TRAINING BY CASE METHOD "CONSTRUCTION OF YAKUT TRADITIONAL DWELLING BALAGAN"
Abstract
One of the factors of specialist competitiveness increasing in any field is foreign languages skills. Requirements to foreign language skills assume professional communication forming of future specialists of the technical direction and for this purpose it is necessary to create a situation close to real communication. The article is devoted to foreign languages training of future civil engineers by individual approach on the example of the national and regional unit "Construction of Yakut traditional dwelling Balagan". Experience of method case practical application made with students of the third yearВ’s course of engineering and technical institute is described. Case method application in educational process and mainly, national and regional component "Construction of Yakut traditional dwelling Balagan" allows to realize the personal potential more brightly and fully and also gives possibilities of professional communication in English of future specialists. The case on the traditional dwelling of the people of the Far North developed for the students, future construction engineers provides coherence of the theory and practice. This training approach defines foreign language learning efficiency and assumes an active role of all members of educational activity. Case method using "Construction of Yakut traditional dwelling Balagan" gives the chance to learn traditions, customs and culture of the people more deeply and also use language as means for professional training. The text and tasks of the case consist of the professional oriented words and phrases with national and regional component "Construction of Yakut traditional dwelling BalaganВ» in order to motivate students for easier perception, understanding and motivation increasing. Application and implementation importance of this case makes to get the general and professional competences of future specialist.
