STUDY REGARDING STUDENTS’ OPINION ABOUT PRACTICE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Abstract
This study is part of a complex research about the quality of life and aims to obtain information about most preferred activities in their spare time, on how much time students allocate for practicing physical activities and what motivates them chose to have an active life-style instead of a sedentary one. The methodology used in this study is an instrument we’ve developed, a 21 item questionnaire with 6 questions with open answers and 15 questions with closed answers (having 4 response options). The results obtained are significantly different between female and male subjects so we can state that the reasons for practicing physical activities and sports are different in women than men. The questionnaire was applied in June 2015 in the same week to 123 subjects, students from Romania, so the comparison of results to be as accurate as possible.
