CYBER EXTREMISM PREVENTIVE MEASURES IN TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS

Abstract

Cyber extremism takes a special place among all asocial acts in the virtual environment. The young adults are sensitive and defenseless to forcible and violent ideas and notions of extremism, xenophobia, intolerance and terroristic radicalization. Preventive measures of keeping/saving young adults from cyber extremism must be taken even in secondary schools. Thus, teachers should be competent in cyber extremism preventive measures, they should be instructed how to resist and stop the spreading of this violent ideology among young adults. The problem arise the necessity of developing special methodology of future teachers training in universities and pedagogical faculties. The complex methodology is used: theoretical methods (systems analysis, formalization, comparative analysis, modeling etc.); empirical methods of the research are summarizing the results of pedagogical experience, (interviewing, testing, ranging, and examination); methods of mathematical processing of results, evaluation procedures and statistical validity. The authors develop the model of special future teachers training in universities and pedagogical faculties that help them be competent in cyber extremism preventive measures to resist cyber extremism ideology in virtual environment. The main directions of practical work are defined, their collaborative impact supplies the development of critical thinking, upbringing tolerance, intercultural and inter confessional mutual understanding and as a result the measures contribute to increasing the efficiency in cyber extremism preventing activities. The results of the research may be useful for modernizing of current curricular (schedules) and programs of training students as future secondary school teachers; in preparing special courses and seminars, elective courses and carrying out scientific conferences, workshops etc.
