Abstract

In this paper, a new system is designed, which can be implemented into mobile phones, without increasing their size and power, while using Galileo satellites. The system will offer the rescue service also in areas without terrestrial mobile network coverage – for everyone, but decisive purpose of our study is to develop appropriate equipment for disabled people in challenging environmental conditions such as skiing in foggy weather as well as night cross-country skiing or riding bike in such conditions. First part of development focused on ski centres with terrestrial equipment for assisted navigation should be prepared and finally tested before Paralympics by blind skiers and other types of disabled skiers. In subjects such as Cyber Space Economics we were using our former experience with a groups of Erasmus (students from Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal and Spain) for testing our know how, good practice and procedures for successful performance in the framework of Galileo the European competition for students and young researchers. An important element of a successful activity of our first team was connected with advantage of the attractive environment of the Tatra mountains the candidate for Winter Olympics 2022, which we used in the form of illustrative images in the context of the competition but first of all for testing activity important for our project. Images from the skiing in the fog as well as those taken during the night skiing served as a strong argument to support ideas needed for the guidelines of the Galileo project for development of technology which would allow not only to replace the existing technology in the European service supported by the American GPS, or even by Russian Glonas but move the services of the European navigation system to a higher level in a comprehensive provision of services to prevent such horrible consequences as it was in case our favorite Schumi former F1 champion or even in case of top among politicians Angela Merkel during her cross country skiing or even fatal consequences in case of Holland prince among prominent people, do not mentioning others.
