REAL INCOMES OF THE POPULATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION: OPPORTUNITIES AND GROWTH PROSPECTS

Abstract

Ensuring a decent standard of living is one of the most important issues that any state is called upon to resolve. Taxation and other obligatory payments levied on citizens have a direct impact on the size of real incomes of the population. Experts predict that the fiscal burden on the population in 2019 in the Russian Federation will increase significantly. At the same time, the situation may worsen due to a fairly high level of inflation, the growth of which in 2019 is predicted by many experts. In addition, against the background of unfavorable inflation processes and the growth of the fiscal burden, an increase in the volume and cost of services in socially significant sectors is observed. In particular, we are talking about increasing the list of paid medical and educational services, about increasing their cost, as well as about increasing tariffs in the field of housing and communal services. As an additional indicator, testifying to the existing negative aspects in the field of public welfare, we can single out the negative dynamics of indicators characterizing the opinion of the population itself about their personal material situation, as well as a decrease in the consumer confidence index. Thus, the need for the state to develop and implement priority measures aimed at ensuring the growth of real incomes of the population is obvious. The article discusses possible solutions that could ensure this growth, as well as contribute to the development of the Russian economy as a whole.
