SPECIAL MOVEMENT PROGRAM AS AN EFFECTIVE MOVEMENT INTERVENTION AFFECTING THE ATTENTION OF ADOLESCENTS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Abstract
The article discusses the development of attention in hearing-impaired adolescents using a special exercise programme. The objective of the research was to influence hearing-impaired adolescentsВ’ attention by means of specific sports or an exercise programme. From the methodological point of view, a basic empirical approach using a simple experiment was applied. The exercise programme consisting of self-defence basics and psychomotor exercise was the main experimental factor. Attention testing [5] was used to determining the attention level in research subjects. The research has confirmed the premise that self-defence basics and psychomotor exercise significantly influenced the development of attention in the selected group of hearing-impaired adolescents.
