STUDY REGARDING THE RECOVERY, BY PROMOTING, OF THE ROMANIAN HEALTH TOURISM PRODUCT
Abstract
Throughout the world there is a stiff competition among tourist destinations in general and health in particular, that should take care of the adaptation of modern policies, aggressive but also of increasing the quality of services. The practice of health tourism development revealed the fact that the absence of a unified strategy for local development, which could have been materialized in the General Urban Plan, it came as tourist sites to be realized casual and without grounded market research, going by the principle of creating objective to stimulate the interest. This principle has caused malfunctions by achieving the sites outside the general tourist frame, demonstrating that this practice jeopardizes much part of the investment made until today, given that the development of rural infrastructure involves structuring the infrastructure elements in other perimeters. The directions of Romanian health tourism development are determined by overall macroeconomic development, by a better reglementation, from a legal perspective, of the issue of this form of tourism and by the involvement of the Romanian Government in supporting Romanian tourism and health tourism. Health tourism can be a lever for local development in rural areas. For as health offer to have high value, it is necessary that the economic value of adjacent activities to remain at a high level, a principle who not cover only attractiveness exercised by the rural environment, but also the specific activities.
