POLITICAL SOCIALIZATION FEATURES OF INDIGENOUS MINORITY OF THE NORTH IN SAKHA (YAKUTIA) REPUBLIC

Abstract

Political socialization of indigenous minority of the North has social, economic and psychological features. This process [political socialization] is a part of their global problem of integration into modern society, including its social and political structure. At the same time the process of national self-identification increasing should be noted. There are losses of quality of political socialization and involvement of indigenous minority of the North in this process as a result of political socialization mostly spontaneous proceeding, under the influence of external factors, and it takes place as the Russian wide process despite the influence of ethnic and local social and economic features of this category of the population. And itВ’s by far because of some indigenous people of the North donВ’t have national and territorial formations. The political culture of the peoples of the North has passed through several stages of development: archaic (traditional) to the beginning of the twentieth century, Soviet and modern. In these epochs, there were corresponding ideas about power and the features of political socialization. In the traditional era, people's views of power were syncretic and transformed into myths. The consciousness of an archaic person refracted through the myth all the surrounding reality, including social relations, institutions of power. Power in this case always had a concrete, local character. Since harmony and well-being are associated with it, it is perceived as "a complexly balanced system limited by ideological notions and ritual forms." The peculiarities of these ideas persisted among the peoples of the North and in later periods. Considering conditions of industrial development in the North economic, social and political development of his population are important and urgent tasks. In the area where preservation of indigenous ethnic groups of the North identity is on the one hand and their integration into political processes of modern Russia is on the other hand. Researching of identification, political socialization and political involvement will promote elaboration of more effective state policy in relation to indigenous ethnic groups of the North and will give the chance of their participation in making administrative decisions by authorities of all levels. Political socialization provides process of political system reproduction and integration of individuals and social groups into policy, providing vertical and horizontal identification. Various methodological approaches provide a possibility of the comprehensive analysis of this process. Inclusion in methodology cultural anthropological, social and psychological approaches research allows studying national and ethnic features of political socialization mechanisms of indigenous minority of the North as component of the Russian political space. Researching of political socialization as social organized process, its mechanisms and national features have to be the cornerstone of the state national policy development and activities for political education of citizens. On the basis of indigenous ethnic groups of the North researching as the independent subject of the Russian political socialization in the conditions of social and political reforms of the 2000th features of their political socialization are revealed and characterized.
