REAL-TIME DATA ANALYSIS, A NECESSITY FOR DIGITAL AGE MANAGERS
Abstract
Using Big Data in organizations, regardless of their size and specific, offers significant opportunities for growing the business performance. Through the study conducted, we intend to explore the perception of managers on the use of Big Data for business development. The data collected through a questionnaire applied to 1,152 managers, from companies of different sizes and from different fields, were the basis for the creation of a database subsequently processed with appropriate software, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences - SPSS v.24. With this software package, SPSS, we through dedicated procedures we will calculate the statistical indicators. Thus, based on statistical hypothesis testing regarding managers' availability for the implementation of digital technologies in the business process, we verify the veracity of the data obtained. The study demonstrates that managers begin to want to collect and analyze rapidly and in real time relevant information. According to the study, the gathering and analyzing of information through big data technology build deeper and more efficient customer relationships, leading to optimizing the entire business process that will be based on customer needs.
