Abstract

The set of indexes jointly forming the notion of the standard of living consists of various social conditions of people's existence, as well as other conditions thereof. Among these parameters, a place of particular importance belongs to the services sector. Under present-day conditions, the services sector is becoming one of the basic elements of the socioeconomic system, a space in which the economy can develop progressively. The economies of the developed countries are defined as service economies. The socioeconomic system in the contemporary society should be oriented to meeting the material, spiritual and other needs of the population. Given the plethora of social phenomena, a notion of the living conditions of the country's population can be formed by analyzing certain qualitative and quantitative parameters. This work considers the matter of changes in customers' needs for services occurring under the influence of some factors of the development of the services sector.
