Abstract

The article describes the positive experience in preserving and developing the Tatar language in computer technologies. Two main directions for fundamental and applied research are represented: localization of computer technologies for the Tatar language, and developing linguistic resources and NLP for the Tatar language. The first direction implies creating technical and terminological standards for language representation in computer technologies. The second direction involves the development of new electronic linguistic resources and software products for the work with the Tatar language.
