VARIABILITY OF THE SEMANTIC STRUCTURE OF AN ORAL SPONTANEOUS TEXT DEPENDING ON A SPEAKER'S GENDER
Abstract
The paper is devoted to the study of the semantic structure of oral spontaneous text. A new understanding of the texts semantic structure as a collection of text themes and subtopics, semantic units that implement these subthemes, and various links (semantic and grammatical) between units and themes/subtopics, is proposed by the authors. The study was carried out by the method of graphosemantic modeling using the authors method of classifying components for semantic analysis. The processing of the entire research material was carried out by the method of grafosemantic modeling in the information system Semograph. The selection of informants was balanced according to their gender, age and education. The analysis of the semantic structure of 48 oral spontaneous monologues is presented taking into account such social parameter of informants as gender. It is proved that the semantic structure of oral spontaneous text on one topic has a stable core and at the same time is subject to sociolinguistic variability. Womens texts are more uniformly thematically, often in them a recurring set of microthemes is implemented. And the texts of men are more diverse, they can be implemented in different microtopes with different volume of units.
