TOLL-LIKE RECEPTORS AND SEVERITY OF ADHESIONS AT WOMEN WITH TUBAL INFERTILITY
Abstract
The aim of research was to estimate level of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) of innate immunity in patients with different stages of tubal adhesions and possibilities to use their detection for prediction of adhesions 21 women with I stage of tubal adhesions (I group) and 31 - with II-IV stages of adhesions (II group) were examinated. Samples were taken from endocervix by cytobrush and by biopsy of tubes during laparoscopy. Expression of TLRs was determined using qPCR. 5-fold decrease of TLR1, which ligands are bacterial lipoproteins of gram-positive bacteria, was observed in tubal tissue in group with severe tubal adhesions. Among TLRs, which are capable to recognize viruses and nucleic acids, only TLR7 (ligand – single stranded viral DNA) had 28-fold decrease in group with severe adhesions. mRNA expression of other TLRs (TLR2, TLR3, TLR4, TLR5, TLR8 and TLR9), had no significant difference with the I group. There were no significant differences of TLRs expression in endocervix in both groups.
