INFLUENCE OF DETERMINANT FACTORS OF INNOVATION PROCESS ON THE PERFORMANCE IN TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANIES
Abstract
The telecommunications industry is a sector that is developing at a fast pace, in a particularly strong competitive environment. Innovation is a key process in this sector being one of the most important factors ensuring the competitiveness of companies. The analysis of the components that are evaluating the performances of the telecommunication companies as a result of the adoption of the innovations enables the creation of strategic models that can lead to important competitive advantages with the effect of increasing their competitiveness. The paper aims to analyze the correlation between the factors that determine the innovation process in the telecommunication companies with the effect of increasing their performance. As a case study, the analysis was carried out in a telecommunication company from Romania. The data were collected through the application of questionnaires to 30 managers of the studied company. The research methodology used multifactorial analysis tools. The results of the analysis confirmed positive correlations between the factors that determine the innovation process and the performance of the telecommunication companies.
