STUDY REGARDING THE SITUATION AND EVOLUTION OF ROMANIAN ECONOMY

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present issues concerning the status and evolution of the Romanian economy. The study started in this work will continue with other research in this regard. The working methods used by the authors were the data collection, processing, analysis and comparison. The research is based on a bibliography consists of various scientific publications, statistical data, books without claiming to have exhausted the literature on this subject. Economic growth represents the essential engine for raising living standards. The importance of economic growth in a market economy is revealed by the association of a process to compatibility the economic strength of a state with growing wealth and welfare. Due to the complexity of the concept of economic growth, its expression can be done through a system of indicators that to allow a more accurate assessment, an analysis of the evolution way. The results of the economic growth may be measured by a number of indices comprising: Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Gross National Product (GNP). The conclusion that emerges based on the analysis is that in order to increase the efficiency of the national economy are required stimulation measures using a combination of monetary and fiscal policy in order to improve the business environment and support the business men. The national economy is compatible and complementary to the EU economy, with adjustments that to implement economic policy measures, of raising the standard of living and quality of life.
