NEW METHODS OF APPROACHING CONTEMPORARY ACTOR'S ACTING
Abstract
We propose a very important research subject developed around the concept of actor, namely a theoretical and applied study of stage movement in developing the creativity of actors. The study proposes the identification and, afterwards, the use of the contemporary acting and its adaptation to freelancing. Thus, starting from the present theoretical models together with the existent case studies, we will approach this subject taking into account the specificity of European and Romanian cultural pattern. Taking into consideration the complexity of the research process and the specificity of the creation process, our research methods and techniques will be varied and based on the new artistic tendencies. The researches of theatre professors and theoreticians, starting with Meyerhold's bio-mechanics at Grotowski's laboratory theatre, have considered that actor's development is based on his gestures, on his movements which are considered essential in expressing the feelings that can not be expressed by words. The use of choreographic elements in acting, developing the spectators' imagination, the use of methods taken from circus as means of obtaining fiction, comic scenes and emotions, as well as new modalities of design leading to scene language development have integrated in contradictory styles on theatre scenes. An original element that is extremely important is represented by the management of data and processes of analysed workshops; consequently, the artistic language will be transposed into sociological language and then in methodological one.
