ANALYSIS AND ASSESSMENT OF PRODUCTIVITY OF WORK IN A COMPANY

Abstract

In this article, the essence and significance of the productivity of work in operation activities of the company are presented. The purpose of the study was to examine relations between the level of the productivity of work and the work resources in companies. The research was conducted in Polish large-sized companies of the construction industry. The conducted analysis in the examined companies the effect of which are complete and partial models identifying a direction and the force of impact of elements of the structure of employment on the productivity of work make it possible to prepare a model of pro-productive structure of employment. By way of economic analysis, the following elements of the pro-productive structure of employment have been determined according to: the type of activities; seniority; age; education; professions; the forms of work. It is important, both cognitively, and for practice, to learn factors of the structure of employment related to the productivity of work, the result of which in practice will be improvement in planning of the work resources, and also increase in the work productivity in companies. Significance of well conducted analysis and assessment of the productivity of work and preparation of a model structure of employment is to provide in the future an appropriate level of employment in accordance with actual needs and professional staffing of positions, and also an optimal organisational as well as a qualification and professional structure, and also complete and productive use of the working time in accordance with the needs of the company and aspirations of the employees.
