ISSUES OF A CONTEMPORARY PERSON IN A DIGITALIZED ECONOMY

Abstract

No successful economy can be implemented in closed mode in the contemporary globalized world. A view of an explosive development of the national IT technology the society is forced to transform itself from vertically-integrated model into horizontal model. The functions of state authorities change significantly, shifting from interim measures to a standard of quality services provision. The way of life of a contemporary person changes significantly; there is also a process of state borders blurring and stateВ’s financial and economy borders blurring. It should be made clear that there are no borders in the contemporary information society. All of this has a serious impact on the inner world of a person. According to experts, a serious process which can be called dehumanization is going on in the digitized world, in the context of the digital economy and development of information society. Huge amounts of data are being accumulated and processed within the digital economy, and, using computation algorithms and various methods and techniques, such data is being transformed into subjects having its inherent characteristic properties; also, such data is being broken down into various processes, trends, events and correlations between the above-mentioned events and phenomena. The recently adopted course of the Russian state for the development of the digital economy is a main strategy for the development of our country. The problem of adapting an person to the conditions of a rapidly changing external world, the external environment, to accepting the challenges and threats of uncertainty and risk that accompany a person throughout his life, becomes even more pressing in a digitized environment. The article is devoted to revealing the positive and negative consequences of the implementation of the digital economy for the individual. At the present time the main guiding principle of our state is development of digital economy. The Russian economy is significantly behind the developed world economies in which generation and processing of huge amounts of information and knowledge using groundbreaking IT- / Smart-technologies and the most powerful computation systems and devices becomes a routine. In foreign countries the implementation of Smart-space residential environment building concept is aimed at enhancement of residential environment comfortability, enhancement of life quality, enhancement of natural resources use efficiency that eventually enhance environmental situation in the cities influencing significantly not only the general health level and life span of the country citizens but also a personВ’s psychological state. It is concluded that along with the undoubted positive consequences of the use of information technologies, problems of a philosophical and psychological plan may arise, in particular, the problem of identifying the person in the world of information and digitals.
