CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING – THE THEORETICAL BASIS AND PRACTICAL CONSEQUENCES
Abstract
This paper is dedicated to the problems of corporate volunteering in the context of corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy. The paper aims to define corporate volunteering in the context of corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy, identify possible forms and benefits of corporate volunteering and document the given problems on the current situation in the Czech Republic. Firstly, the author explains the term of corporate volunteering in relation to philanthropic responsibility, and also presents possible forms and benefits of corporate volunteering. Secondly, the given problems are discussed from the point of view of the Czech Republic, both from the institutional point of view and from the project point of view.
