ASSESSMENT OF THE PROVISION OF THE POPULATION WITH SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE EXAMPLE OF MUNICIPALITIES OF THE REPUBLIC OF SAKHA (YAKUTIA)

Abstract

Objective: The objective of the study is to assess the provision of social infrastructure in the context of municipalities with the construction of a rating based on the developed methodology. Methods: A method is proposed for calculating the integral index of the social infrastructure of municipalities according to the level of indicators and taking into account the dynamics of its change. Findings: The presented methodology for assessing the provision of social infrastructure was tested on the example of municipalities of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) with the construction of the classification of municipalities by point system. A serious differentiation between municipalities has been revealed. Conclusions: The developed methodology makes it possible to objectively judge the processes occurring in municipalities to change the conditions for the provision of public services in the social sphere and determine the socio-economic policy for the development of the region and the municipality. The results of the study are intended for use in practical work in order to make management decisions and programs to improve the quality of life of the population through improving the social infrastructure of the regions.
