Abstract

Methodology and content structure of communication and learning issues associated with an implementation of the European Strategy Development Document EUROPE 2020 and Framework Programme HORIZON 2020 are designed within this paper. The focus is on study programs oriented in the field of economics and management created within the study field of Economics and Management according to the European structure of fields of study. The designed concept of educational and communication model is based on the state-of-art of sustainability of education at Slovak universities and more specifically at the Faculty of Business Economy of the University of Economics in Bratislava with seat in Kosice. The outcomes can be a guide, or a manual for modification of the model and its wider application within the European environmental management-oriented universities in ensuring their sustainable development.
