Abstract

The caves of the Slovak and Aggtelek Karst have been included in the World List since 1995 heritage of UNESCO. These caves are based on bilateral nomination Slovak-Hungarian the project has become a value not only for Slovakia and Hungary, but for all mankind. On karst below them, more than 1000 caves and abysses with different forms have been discovered sinter and ice fillings. Such cave density does not occur in the mild climate zone probably nowhere in the world. Speleological tourism is a form of tourism that is associated with a tour of the caves and the discovery of its spaces and abysses. The accessible caves are illuminated, have marked paths, the stairs are technically secured and the inspection takes place with the help of a trained guide. Cave visitors use the services associated with their visit and examination. The main goal of our paper is to analyze and compare visitors' satisfaction with selected natural heritage services listed in the UNESCO National Park Slovak Karst. The object of our analysis was Domica caves and Ochtinska aragonite cave. The basic methods of collecting primary data is the questionnaire survey, in which we have investigated visitor satisfaction with information provided, souvenir sales, guide services, social facilities, parking and infrastructure in the area of interest. The results of the questionnaire survey were evaluated by appropriate mathematical-statistical methods and decided on the merit of the proposed hypotheses.
