STRATEGIES FOR SELF-PRESERVING BEHAVIOR OF YOUTH IN RUSSIA

Abstract

The article presents the results of a regional study devoted to the study of strategies and practices of self-preserving behavior of young people. The results of the sociological research showed that most young people consider health to be one of the important values and try to lead a healthy lifestyle, namely: to look at life with optimism, exercise, watch their weight, eat right, pay attention to the shelf life and composition purchased products, do not smoke, limit alcohol consumption, etc. The main factors that have the greatest impact on the state of human health, young people consider the efforts of the person himself, heredity and environmental situation. The majority of respondents identified the lack of free time, workload and learning, their own laziness, and lack of organization as the main reasons that prevented a healthier lifestyle. The main reasons that can make you strive to live as long as possible, young people call the desire to experience and see in life as much as possible, the desire not to part with their relatives and friends, the intention to see the future of their children and encouragement to better provide their loved ones. The reasons that prevented the desired number of years, the respondents called unsatisfactory state of health, uncertainty in the future, unsatisfactory medical care. The data obtained became the basis for proposals to enhance the culture of self-preserving behavior of youth in Russian regions.
