Abstract

In this paper, one of the "problem zones" of mathematics is presented by computer and mathematical modeling. The study concerns the problem of learning of complex concept of the surface area mastering by students understanding. Students construct the multifaceted surfaces of Schwartz cylinder (or "boot") using computer and mathematical and adapt the most important generalized constructions to the actual position of mathematical knowledge concerning the analysis and the essence of the "problem zone" of surface area. The computer and mathematical design of the nonlinear dynamics of the manifestation of synergetic effects is developed step by step and dynamic invariants are revealed in the course of mastering the complex concept of the surface area. Namely, the means of the QT Creator environment are used for computer design of non-linear dynamics of functional parameters and technological constructs and students reveal the regularities and irregularities of lateral surface approximations of Schwartz cylinder. The study was carried out on the basis of triangulations of the lateral surface of the cylinder with regular and irregular limiting grinding by layered polyhedral complexes using computer and mathematical modeling tools.
