Abstract

Syntactic phraseology as a subsystem of phraseology is a new direction in the syntax and phraseology of the language. The article provides an overview of the latest studies of syntactic phraseology. The subject and object of this article are determined by the private scientific methodological principles of this study, which are based on the concept of describing the phraseological composition of different languages in the works of the various researchers. The traditional methods of description and observation, the component analysis, the syntactic modeling, the phraseological analysis, the etymological analysis, the contextual analysis as well as the elements of the transformational and discourse analysis are used in the work. The choice of methods is determined by the specifics of the object and subject of study. The methodological foundation of syntactic phraseology was formed by Russian linguistics. That is why the theoretical basis of our study is mainly due to the domestic experience in the study of phraseological units. Units of syntactic phraseology are syntactic phraseological units (hereinafter – SPU). The article gives an analysis of the types of syntactic phraseological units.
