DEVELOPMENT OF ANOMIE IN THE RELIGIOUS SPHERE OF POSTSOVIET SOCIETY
Abstract
In this article the author analyzes the influence of amendments in the religious sphere of postsoviet society on strengthening anomie in it. Among factors, that influence anomie and characterizes the religious sphere state of the modern Russian society, he names the existence of many religious confessions due to missionery activities, traditional confession restoration (Orthodox, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Lutheranism), actualization of religious identity matter, phenomena of “out of confession heresy” and interreligious conflicts. According to the researcher opinion, amendments in the spiritual sphere affect on the subject phenomena as well as transformation of the political and economic systems, caused by with the transfer from communism to democracy and from a planning to market economy. A special attention pays to the role of the state and its influence on representatives of various religious groups in the article. The article also contains tendencies, affecting reduction of anomie at the modern stage of development of modern Russian society such as expansion of adherents of Russian Orthodox Church, adaptation of its religious traditions and practices, new cults institualization.
