NATIONAL INNOVATION SYSTEM IN RUSSIA: DEVELOPING AN EFFECTIVE GOVERNANCE MODEL
Abstract
Over the past twenty-thirty years, innovations have received increasing attention. The complication and fast progress of the current innovation-driven economy requires national governments to develop new directions for innovation governance. Global trend demonstrates that developing nations are no longer lagging in their efforts to improve innovation performance, but have become leaders. The aim of this paper is to provide an integrative framework for the comprehensive understanding of the innovation governance in Russia, its status, main challenges and opportunities, considered coherent analysis of the complex and dynamic character of modern innovation and its input in economic growth.
