Abstract

Background. Online therapy has been making progress over the last 50 years, both in the world and in Romania. However, more details are needed to increase addressability to this form of therapy. Methods. Since 2011, we have developed the “Gandeste Sanatos” (Think Healthy) program, a cognitive behavioral online psychotherapy program. The program consists of several modules designed for customer education for therapy followed by specific information for several disorders: anxiety, depression, panic disorder obsessive-compulsive disorder, personal development. The online psychotherapy program is based on an online platform that contains 93 lessons (explanations, techniques, and written interaction with the psychologist) in association with 50-minute live Skype sessions, with a weekly frequency in the start-up phase. In order to be able to respond to the need for therapy, we analyzed the population using online programs for a period of 18 months. Results. The results allow us to constantly adapt the information and their presentation to the population of Romanian nationality, as well as alterations according to the latest news in the field.
