IMPROVEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL LEVEL OF WORKERS OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Abstract
The fundamental issues of increasing the level of training of social workers necessarily include the system of education. It is an essential part of the performance of the work of each social worker. In recent times, the training of workers in the social sphere of the Czech Republic has undergone extensive changes. Mandatory training of employees is reflected in the activities of officials of both state administration and local authorities, whilst taking into consideration the specifics of these areas. In relation to defining terms such as authorities for the social and legal protection of children and compulsory training, the subject of the investigation is particularly to describe the obligations established for employers and employees in the field of ensuring compulsory training in the social sphere. The newly adapted training concept builds on the extensive legislation associated with the preparation of Civil Code No. 89/2012 Coll., as amended, and related legal regulations, which, in terms of its content, fundamentally affected all areas of social services, including increased demands on the expertise of officials and the extent of their knowledge. The regulation of compulsory training has also become one of the important areas for evaluating social services standards. The application of the new legislation in specific conditions is monitored from an employer's perspective, from the perspective of the employees, but also in terms of professional umbrella organization of Authorities for the Social and Legal Protection of Children Association of Workers. This article also evaluates interviews.
