RATIONAL NUTRITION OF MODERN HUMAN
Abstract
To eat rationally means to follow the general rules of healthy eating based on its basic principles. People have fed since they live on the ground, but rational nutrition has become an acute public health issue in the last two decades after an observation and some research showed that most of the diseases that currently affecting humanity, which cause early disability and shorten the thread of life are largely due to an uncontrolled diet. The present paper proposes, in the context described above, to emphasize rigorously the link between healthВ’s, the good functioning of the human organism and the basic principles of rational nutrition, a diet based on balanced intake between animal food and vegetal origin. Each food product is a complex mixture of nutrients. Only with a few exceptions we can find relatively complete foods capable to satisfy in a large extent the requirements that the body needs. Combining judiciously animal food with vegetable food, the food ration provides nutrients necessary for proper functioning of the body. When in our diet predominates only one kind of product, even if is very tasty, soon or later is reach the saturation, the appetite disappear, appear a slow digestion and the assimilation of food in this way is much lower. But these are not the only shortcomings. By restraining the area of food consumed, is restricted implicitly the nutritional substances, nutritional principles are also restricted, which leads to an irrational diet. Modern human must understand that the proper nutrition is related to the physical and mental development of the child and young person, the adult's ability to work, the elderly, the prevention of degenerative chronic diseases. In nutrition, the human is making mistakes in two distinct directions: either feeding insufficiently, either consuming larger quantities of food than they need. Between the two limits, somewhere in the middle, there is the balance, rational nutrition. In order to maintain the vital activity of the body and to maintain our health, it is necessary not only to feed ourselves, but also to feed ourselves rationally.
