TOPICAL FORMS OF LINGUISTIC TRAINING FOR STUDENTS OF ECONOMICS
Abstract
The purpose of the research is to study the issue of training highly skilled professionals in the sphere of international economic relations in nonlinguistic universities. The chosen methods of research are the method of studying the teaching techniques, as well as the comparative method. The study shows that it is essential to train professional language on early stages of the education programme. Early training of professional language contributes to the forming of professional cross-cultural communication competence by the end of the second year of bachelor degree course. The study reveals difficulties arising from the fact that professional language studies anticipate studies of specialist disciplines, which are not known to the students yet, and shows the ways of efficient solution to this problem. The author comes to the conclusion that for the purpose of effective training of international economists and effective development of a foreign language cross-cultural competence it is advisable to practice a communicative teaching method that implies interactive teaching methods and an extensive use of audio and video material.
