THE CULTURE OF UNDERSTANDING IN THE PRACTICE OF SOCIAL COMMUNICATION
Abstract
The article is devoted to the discussion of the phenomenon of the culture of understanding within the framework of social communication, the established tendencies of the interpretation of the two-way nature of the culture of understanding are analysed. The culture of understanding, being the condition and the result of social communication, contributes to both the regulation of peopleВ’s social behaviour and the structuring of the communicative space with the aim of reaching public agreement and mutual understanding. The author covers the problem the understanding culture role in the process of the reproduction of the cultural heritage, spiritual culture of the society. The cultural normative regulation of provision of stabilization of the communicative situation assumes the formation of the culture of understanding as a basis of the dialogical interaction and a means of humanization of human relations. In our opinion the understanding culture is the way of the social reality exploration and the necessary link between the individual experience of a person and the collective experience of previous generations, thus the understanding culture provides the stability of the communicative situation and socio-cultural space.
