DIGITALIZATION OF AGRICULTURE AND AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AS A FACTOR IN ENSURING FOOD SECURITY IN RUSSIAN FEDERATION.
Abstract
The article reviews the questions of development of food security in information aspect and in the context of information economy. The importance of the article is conditioned by advancing development of information and digit economy and its influence over all the state economy. The goal of the article is to address the issue of food security within the development of information economy and implementation of information and communication technologies. The article reports in depth of food security as the foundation of state economic security and the problems of realization of digitalization potential within the agriculture sector of the Russian Federation. In the frameworks of this paper the authors address the types of monitoring of agribusiness industry as well as the В«Internet of Things - IoTВ» conception and the specifics of IoT implementation in agriculture of Russia. New projects of digitization of agriculture as the process of creating of effective information systems and implementing of the breakthrough hardware and software are reviewed. The courses of efficiency improvement of agriculture driven by digitization and IoT are determined.
