CONTENT ANALYSIS OF MASTER AND DOCTORAL DISSERTATIONS ON CAREER BETWEEN 2000 AND 2017 AT TURKISH UNIVERSITIES
Abstract
Graduate studies at universities are conducted not only in theoretical research but also in order to find solutions to the needs of the sector. With this study, it is aimed to investigate the studies made about career by content analysis method. This study aimed at investigating master and doctoral dissertations on human resources management published between 2000 and 2017 at Turkish universities by content analysis. Totally 113 dissertations are included in the analysis. The dissertations are examined according to miscellaneous properties such as institutions that they belong to, subjects covered, the used scales, the year of being published, involving any research, and sectors investigated; the results are presented by frequency distributions. Through this study, it was ensured that both the organizations and the employees were informed about the career path.
