Abstract
This paper aim to introduce a project Development of independent movement through tactile and auditory means. The projectВ‘s purpose is an adaption of people with visual impairment to the modern technologies and to make these technologies available for newly designed teaching aids and didactic procedures. Making these technologies available to a wider spectrum of users will result not only in a socialization but also in the independence of people with visual impairment. The project focuses on the development of 3D tactile maps which are created by modern 3D printing tools, while developing a software tool to link maps with an iPads and then to practice a 3D tactile-auditory map. During the implementation of the project, a didactic file of maps will be created, a software associated with them, and training materials will be created with a set of tasks to train the implementation. The project implemetation should help to improve the orientation of people with severe visual or visual and combined disabilities in the space, which is an important aspect of their integration into society, their independence, and consequently greater employability in the labor market.
