Abstract

The paper introduces the general model of andragogical vocational consultancy. Based on the theoretical research drawing from theoretical approaches of Slovak and foreign authors and arguments resulting from the current socio-cultural and socio-economic conditions, this paper explains the meaning of the educational consulting support aimed at adults who are healthy and (potentially) productive in their work during their vocational life. The authors consider the andragogical vocational consultancy as a process parallel to further professional education –– a process with preventive, stabilising and developing potential for individuals and different types of employing agencies.
