Abstract

Problems of studying dependence of cognitive processes on language, the concept of language as a key to understanding thinking and knowledge, to solving problems of modern life are presented in the article. The explication of main approaches to the study language philosophy of the twentieth century, analysis of language problems, which received an insignificant degree of researchers’ reflexion, is discussed. The authors considered attempts to explain the complexity of modern life through the study of language, investigated reflection of the world in language, origin of language, its nature and essence, relation between consciousness and unconsciousness, thinking and understanding, language and society problems. Transition from classical philosophy to neoclassical one, rethinking of language role concept, various attempts to clarify and reform language in accordance with the laws of logic as a unified structure of reality are presented in the article. Relation between existence of philosophical problems and their rootedness in language, a number of aspects and approaches to the body language problem as a way to understanding unconscious are considered.
