Abstract

FOREWORD SWS International Scientific Conference on Art and Humanities ISCAH is interdisciplinary forum, focused on the SOCIAL DIMENSIONS OF THE 2030 AGENDA in front of one UNCOMPROMISED, ECOLOGICAL and SUSTAINABLE FUTURE. The change needed to move to an environmentally sustainable world, and in particular to a zero-net economy, is truly unprecedented and requires a global industrial and technological revolution with consequences in every aspect of society. But the belief that only engineering can provide the necessary solutions is wrong. The focus only on these areas and the frequent neglect of the social sciences and humanities, as well as the arts, are at the heart of the slow and volatile transition to sustainability. Although engineering and technical solutions are needed to make consumption more sustainable and less wasteful, they will only be effective if they are woven into public relations, that is, how people behave in different social and organizational contexts and what are their norms, values, and motivation to change their unsustainable consumption. This is the point where Humanities and Arts take place and help us to understand ourselves, others, and how our human behavior shapes the world around us. Humanities and Arts aim their attention at human society and culture, using methods that, unlike the social sciences, are mostly analytical and critical. These are the areas where the subjects of research are, both past and present, thoughts, creations, development, and actions of humanity. Humanities and Arts are trying to make people more emphatic and humane. They introduce us to living beings we have never seen, places we have never been to, stories we have never heard of, and ideas we have never thought of. By transforming what we have learned over the centuries and learning from the mistakes of our ancestors in classicism, analysing and doubting through criticism, and developing art during the periods Ancient Classical Art -> Medieval Art -> Renaissance -> Neoclassicism -> Romanticism we can change our future and society in one sustainable world. During the International Scientific Conference on Art and Humanities (ISCAH), researchers from two or more disciplines can analyses, synthesizes, and harmonizes links between the disciplines into a coordinated and coherent whole. They can integrate knowledge and methods from different disciplines, using a real synthesis of approaches. Thus, they can solve societal issues in a much more effective manner and obtain a better and more complete picture of large-scale social dynamics. The interdisciplinary line of action results in a finer understanding and helps scientists work for a New World, with an UNCOMPROMISING, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE. The Conference Committee and the Editorial Board are open to comments and recommendations for the development of future conference proceedings and organization of the next SWS Conferences on Art and Humanities - ISCAH. We would like to thank all the authors, reviewers, members of the Programme and Scientific Committee and the Editorial Board as well as supporting staff for their contribution organizing the conference.
