THE STUDY OF LIFE EXPECTATIONS AND VALUES OF YOUNG PEOPLE

Abstract

The article describes a study aimed at studying the values and life meanings of the younger generation. Research in the field of human values is the object of undying interest of researchers. The processes taking place in Russia are undergoing changes not only in the economic and political spheres of the state's life but also in the values and meanings of both individuals and society as a whole. From what values will prevail in a person on the basis of them and he will build his life, personal relationships, family life, professional career. Based on the rapidly changing world order, economic development, social development, virtual reality, the ideological direction of society, it makes sense to study the life meanings and values of young people. The following trends in the human development line are identified in the study: the transformation of values from a humanistic to a material orientation; aspiration for "power and material goods" and "stability and order". In the study, a hierarchy of categories of vital senses (Altruistic, Existential, Hedonistic, Self-Realization, Status, Communicative, Family, Cognitive) is defined and singled out among modern people in the period of formation of family relations. It is young people who make up the future of any society. And, on what it will depend on the future. The article also focuses on the further perspective of the research of the problem.
