Abstract

A human being is viewed from various perspectives. The individual is considered as a multidimensional being. The persons with visual impairment can be exposed to a number of stimuli that influence their biological nature (physiology of the organism), psychological nature (personality), social nature (socialization, inclusion) and spiritual nature (values, belief). We aimed at the different areas of the everyday life in the student with visual impairment. The main objective of the paper is to achieve a deeper understanding of the topic. We focused on the theoretical-critical analysis of the topic and the cases of the target group. Research data were collected by means of oral and written questionnaires. The data were supported by a review of relevant documents. The data evaluation process was based on a description of the phenomena, development of clusters, recognition of patterns, and identification of associations. The final part of the study is a result of a comparison of the participantsВ’ subjective experiences. Elements of triangulation were used and a qualitative approach was followed.
