Abstract

Modern trends in the development of the economy of the regions are characterized by the increased influence of competitive relations. In the article the author examines the relationship between the level of competitiveness and the level of labor productivity, confirms their high level of interconnection, which can be used to achieve sustainable growth and development of the region.
